Automated BI for Pastel

BI tools have evolved dramatically over the last 5 years. And I am so thankful for it.

These tools greatly enhance our ability to work with big data sets. With business data increasing at the speed of light we as accountants, auditors and management have to also improve our ability to work with more data.

The reality is that the hours in a day isn't going to increase, just the amount of data we need to work through. And like it or not data volumes will increase from here on forward. I use to find this fact overwhelming, but with awesome BI and data tools now available I love it.

This gives SME's the opportunity to have world class business intelligence which use to only be available to larger companies with big IT and finance budgets. SME's can greatly enhance their ability to make quick and informed decisions with BI and compete against much bigger players.

Friends, if you or your team is spending a significant amount of time creating reports and spreadsheet, I want to encourage you to give BI and automation a try. The fact is that you loose your most valuable resource (human brain power) when you are excessively working in a spreadsheet.....or should I say, when the spreadsheet is excessively working you.
