Over the last decade I have been involved in a wide variety of businesses and I have seen how technology can build-up or breakdown, people and businesses.

As management the aim is to grow shareholder value by enabling people and systems to operate efficiently together. Over the years I have come to better grasp the difference between people and systems. Now I understand how efficiencies can be improved within each.

With people the goal is to eliminate wasted time and with systems the goal is to increase processing. Let’s not turn our people into “robots” by burdening them down with repetitive tasks that computers are made to do. Cultivate an environment were people have the freedom to think and work together.
