I absolutely love accounting and auditing.

If you think of it, reporting is the link between accounting and auditing. Accountants compile reports for auditors. But without accounting, there can be no reporting and obviously nothing to audit.

Before we automated our reporting I use to have almost no time to do either accounting or auditing. I used most of my time compiling nice looking spreadsheets in an attempt to issue reports.

This was not good for our team, shareholders, customers or suppliers. Manual reporting consumes copious amounts of time and energy leaving you with little time and drained when you do get around to do accounting and/or auditing.
