The devil is in the detail…..or for auditors, in the transactions.

Getting access to transaction is vital for any auditor. However from experience it use to be very difficult to get a full GL transaction export for a large Pastel Partner database.

The View > General ledger > Transactions > Detailed ledger feature, exports data to Excel very slowly and it bombs easily. It also lands the transactions very lumpy forcing the reviewer to spend a lot of time prepping the data before starting the audit / review.

I believe that Lock Down will make it even more difficult to gain access to transaction data. MyBI App eliminates this issue. And best of all is you do not need a Pastel licence.
